Welcome to Venice Bible Church!

We’re Glad You’re Here!

We want to introduce you to Venice Bible Church. We are just a bunch of ordinary people worshiping our extraordinary God. We are convinced that no one is beyond God’s grace and that He has a purpose for each life. Our hope is to help you encounter that grace and realize God’s calling in your life. We want to help you along as we all seek to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. As you have opportunity to worship God with us, it is our hope that you will find yourself connecting with God and enjoying our study together of His Word. Our Home Groups  are the best way to get connected with others here at VBC.

The mission we are on is to be people who love God, love people and make disciples who make disciples of Jesus Christ. (This mission is based on Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 22:37-39; and Matthew 28:18-20.) It sounds big, but they are God’s ideas, not ours. He is on a mission in the world and is inviting us to join Him. Look around the website and see if you can get a picture of who we are. Please come visit us at our NEW TEMPORARY LOCATION, 1600 Banyan (Venice Community Church Building) at 11:00 Sundays. We look forward to meeting you in person. To contact a Pastor send an e-mail to vbc@vbcfl.com or call the CHURCH OFFICE located at 2455 Shamrock Dr. Venice Fla. 34293 at 941-493-2788.

 Home Groups at VBC

There are many home groups for all adults meeting at various times during the week, either on the VBC Campus, or in a home in the greater Venice area. Click the “Home Groups” tab under ministries for more information. If you are not in a Home Group, please contact the church office at  vbc@vbcfl.com or call at 941-493-2788 for more information about the right group for you to join. All adults at VBC are encouraged to be part of a home group, since these groups are where you can be ministered to, prayed for, and minister to others; this is the best way to get connected with others at VBC!

Together in Prayer every Thursday at 6 pm in the Shamrock House!

2 Chronicles 6:40: “Now, O my God, let your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayer of this place.” What an extraordinary privilege united prayer is! What a potential power it has! Who can say what blessings might be gained! Let’s come together to sing praise to our gracious Lord for all his blessings and pray for our church and the needs of her people with thanksgiving in our hearts.
