The Women’s Ministry at VBC is committed to the mission of VBC – Loving God, Loving People and Making Disciples.

What do we want to accomplish? We have a heartfelt desire to be intentional about our focus on God. We want to change our lives and the lives of those around us. We want to encourage you to recognize the need of being discipled and mentored, and sharing this with others God brings into your life.

Connecting Events (link for upcoming events)

We have events for all women in our body to build relationships with believers and non-believers on a social level. How do we do this? Through prayer and interaction that include a variety of ways such as Girls Night Out, Annual Ladies Tea, Secret Sisters and attending the annual Women of Faith Conference. Keep an eye on the bulletin and/or calendar for the upcoming events.

Connecting Events are not just for fun and fellowship but are created as a social environment for women in our church to be living out Titus 2. The goal is for younger women to have a place to rub shoulders with “more seasoned” women in our body with the hopes of mentor-discipleship relationships forming out of those times.

Women’s Bible Studies (click for current bible studies)

We usually have a Monday morning study at 9:00 a.m. and a Tuesday evening study at 7:00 p.m.

Meals Ministry (click here if you’d like to be part of this ministry)

We currently have a volunteer who oversees meals for new mothers or folks who have special needs following illness or hospitalization. Our VBC ladies are happy to serve by meeting these specific needs as they arise.
