A Short History of Venice Bible Church

The first meeting was held on January 11, 1959 in a storefront (now The Clock Restaurant) at 2760 South Tamiami Trail.

The church was formally incorporated in 1963 with thirty-one charter members.

On June 5, 1966 the first service was held on Shamrock Drive.

The first service in our present sanctuary was held on June 12, 1983.
