A Message from Pastor Phil

When you visit with us in person we hope you will experience a warm welcome and will feel right at home. Please come and say hello to me and I will introduce you around. It is important to us that we would truly be a family of faith. In this culture where isolation is so easily thrust upon us, God’s church should stand out as something different. When the church is functioning properly, you can find connection with God and people here. We know that our faith in God is a relational experience. So come experience a live worship service or join in on a small group or bible study or youth event. Come travel the world on a mission trip with us or walk with us across the street and take a neighbor a meal. You are invited to come along with us as we grow in Christ.

We are all on an adventure of discovery and spiritual growth. As a Bible church we care very deeply about what God has to say to us through His Word and by His Spirit. So we study Scripture and seek to apply it to our lives in effective and meaningful ways. We are very serious about knowing God’s Word, so whether it is through personal study, Corporate worship, Bible Classes (We call that Discipleship University), or small groups, we are looking into God’s Word together to learn and mature in our faith.

We want to make God smile, and we look forward to your contribution of presence and gifting in this adventure as well. We hope that you will find Venice Bible Church to be a friendly, safe place where you feel accepted and have opportunities to grow in your faith, meet new friends and find ways to use your gifts to serve others. We want to honor God in all the world by making fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. And here is my personal goal, that someday it will be an honest evaluation to say that this Bible Church in Venice Florida was faithful to God and by His grace we changed the world.
